We are proud to announce that the United Team, and Senior Account Manager, Marti Tarmichael, won a Silver Pyramid Award at the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) show in Las Vegas in January.
The PPAI Pyramid Award recognizes the outstanding, creative use of promotional products by distributor members in a variety of client programs and campaigns. With critical focus on client objective, target audience, execution and strategy, and ultimately results, the Pyramid Awards winners demonstrate unparalleled consultative selling success.
Marti Tarmichael and the United Team received the Award in the “Internal Communication Programs” category for their work with United Airlines and the launch of their Link program!
The United Airlines Link program launch of iphone 6+ for flight attendants was a complex rollout with several specific needs.
The custom kit was designed to fit into a compact and versatile tote, protect their investment by creating a safe and functional “housing”, and to provide useful items to compliment and complete the presentation. The partnership between Summit and United involved countless phone calls, emails and logistical maneuvering to bring items in from overseas and domestically for fulfillment and still meet the launch timeline.
Marti shared her thoughts on what made this project a success. “My main point of contact was extremely organized and a true collaborator. We thrive on finding solutions to our clients needs and this was a genuine team effort between United and Summit – both focused on the goal at hand.”
When asked about the products and ideas presented to United, as well as the time commitment required to prepare her presentation to PPAI, Marti’s response was: “While I submitted the entry and did a lot of the legwork on this project, I couldn’t have done it without the support of our entire Account Team, and all of their efforts.”
Congratulations on an innovative and strategic solution United Team!
