Spice Islands®

The objective was to grow Spice Islands® Vanilla sales from $0.5 MM to $1.5 MM.

Summit used results from consumer research data that showed consumers did not want corn syrup as an additive. We leveraged that insight and suggested retailers replace slow moving competitive vanilla with Spice Islands® Vanilla.

Touting a “No Corn Syrup Added” message, Summit developed consumer print advertising, sales kits and collateral and in-store communications directly comparing the Spice Islands product to their competitor.

Consumers got the message and Summit helped Spice Islands® grow their vanilla extract business 3x.
