To encourage travel agents to book vacation packages offered by Apple Vacations over competing companies. The creation of Apple Vacations Royalties Program, a points-based sales incentive program that rewards travel agents who book vacation packages was launched.
Summit Group built a custom website to provide multi-tier rewards redemptions as well as program, translate and convert Apple’s raw sales data into points. The custom site was designed to track all agent activity and supply a portal for reporting statements and compile agent demographics not previously captured in Apple Vacations’ history.
This successful program has been running strong for well over 10 years. In 1998, the program’s annual sales volume was $150,000. By engaging and rewarding the travel agents, sales volume has grown to $750,000 - $850,000 annually.
