Lights, Camera…Products in Action!
March 9, 2016

Wherever you’re reading this blog post, stop for a moment and look at your surroundings. Everything around you serves a purpose, whether it be a coffee mug, box of tissues, or notebook, right?  What if you were to take a step back and look at those items in a different light.  Could you use any of these products for something other than their intended purpose?  I bet you could, and that’s precisely what our Sales Support Specialist, Allison Vanikiotis out of our Portsmouth, NH office did!

Allison and BabyWe recently purchased baseball hats that had LED lights in the visor, as shown in the picture.  When I first saw these hats, it didn’t occur to me how useful they could be. Allison mentioned she brought one home for her sons to use on a camping trip so they could see where they were headed at night. What she didn’t realize was how useful this hat would be later on when her newborn arrived!

Allison said she uses it in the middle of the night to feed and change her newborn baby, Samantha.  “It is the perfect hands free tool and just enough light that allows me to take care of Samantha in the night.  These hats, which I originally thought were only for outdoor use, would also be perfect for maternity wards!”  In addition to camping and changing babies at night, the LED hat could also come in handy in emergency kits in case the power goes out at home, in your glove compartment or trunk if you’re stranded on the road at night, etc.

When you look at your possessions, whether they are promotional products or not, try thinking of how else you could use that item.  You might be surprised to find that an item you use for one thing could actually have a multitude of other uses!

Contact your Account Executive or send an email to Marketing@summitmg.com if you are interested in learning more about this hat or any of our other promotional items.
